North York Moors - one of most popular tourist destinations in the UK

North York Moors is officially one of most popular tourist destinations in the UK with York as its main city. The entire area is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty and of course has been the backdrop for the famous ITV series HeartBeat which used the North York Moors for its film sets.

Holiday accommodation is in great demand but relatively inexpensive if travelling as a family or as a group. Take for example this charming house set in the picturesque village of Yearsley, just 2 miles south of the famous Ampleforth village and world renown Ampleforth Abbey, and just 20 miles north of York, the UK's 3rd most popular tourist destination.

This holiday cottage in North Yorkshire, called, Treganhawke, has open fires, a dining room, a spacious conservatory, plus patio, and BBQ.The cottage is situated in an extremely quiet position overlooking the Yearsley forest. The garden is delightful with garden seats, a purpose built BBQ and surrounded by some lovely countryside scenery. It is an idyllic geat away from it all location. There is a small pond but it isn't very deep but has some wildlife, such as newts! The owners, the Galisters, live less than 10 miles away and are highly ameniable and allow well behaved pets.

Since this cottage is newly furnished in June 2010 it has only just become available for holiday lets, and there is good availability for the peak season. So if you ae looking for an inexpensive good quality cottage in an excellent location in north Yorkshire, close to the North York Moors then ring Lucy Glaister T. 01347 868644.
